“They are professional, take their time and give an honest evaluation and what I appreciate most, they don't try to upsell me on things my unit does not need. I highly recommend them!”

“Oscar gave me lots of feedback about my a/c about how strong it is doing and that it's not dying as I thought it was. Didn't try to scare me into buying a new one.”

“We were scheduled for Monday to have 1 of our 2 air conditioners worked on. On Sunday the other unit quit cooling. They were great to adjust my scheduled time to work on both. Really great customer service.”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

My AC isn't blowing cold air. What should I check first?

Make sure the thermostat is set to Cool and the set temperature is below room temperature, check that the air filter isn't clogged, and confirm supply and return vents aren't blocked. Check the breaker for the outdoor unit too. If it still isn't cooling, turn the system off so a frozen coil or failing part doesn't get worse, then call us at (512) 960-5282.

Should I repair or replace my air conditioner?

Repair usually makes sense when the system is fairly young and the problem is a single part. Replacement is worth pricing out when the unit is around 15 years old, your energy bills keep climbing, it needs repairs several times a year, or one repair approaches the cost of a new system. We'll tell you honestly which side of that line you're on. Many of our reviews mention we didn't push a replacement that wasn't needed.

How often should my AC and heater be serviced?

At least once a year for each. Ideally that means an AC tune-up in spring before the Central Texas heat and a heating check in fall before the first cold front. Our Gold Service Plan covers both visits.
