AC Repair
Signs your AC needs repair
It's blowing warm or weak air
A failing capacitor, low refrigerant, a dirty coil or a blocked filter can all cut cooling. We test each part instead of guessing.
Grinding, banging or screeching
A low steady hum is normal. Metal-on-metal sounds usually mean a motor, fan or compressor problem that gets more expensive if it keeps running.
Burning or musty smells
A burning smell can mean overheating electrical parts. Shut the system off and call. A musty smell often points to moisture or mold in the system.
Short-cycling
If the system turns on and off before finishing a cycle, it wastes power and wears out parts. Causes range from thermostat issues to an oversized or overheating unit.
The house feels sticky
Your AC removes humidity as well as heat. A muggy house with the AC running is a sign something isn't working right.
Water around the indoor unit
A clogged condensate drain or frozen coil can leak into ceilings and closets. Catching it early prevents water damage.
Our approach
How an AC repair visit works
We diagnose the whole system, not just the symptom. We check electrical parts, refrigerant levels, airflow, coils and drains so the same problem doesn't come back next week.
You'll get a clear explanation of what's wrong and your options before any work starts. If a repair is the smart call, we'll do the repair. If your system is near the end of its life, we'll tell you straight and help you compare.
We repair every major brand and model, and we keep the visit as quick and quiet as possible so you can get back to your day.
Reviews
Homeowners trust us with their AC
What Kyle, Buda and Austin homeowners say. The word that comes up most: honest.
“They are professional, take their time and give an honest evaluation and what I appreciate most, they don't try to upsell me on things my unit does not need. I highly recommend them!”
“Oscar gave me lots of feedback about my a/c about how strong it is doing and that it's not dying as I thought it was. Didn't try to scare me into buying a new one.”
“We were scheduled for Monday to have 1 of our 2 air conditioners worked on. On Sunday the other unit quit cooling. They were great to adjust my scheduled time to work on both. Really great customer service.”

Frequently asked questions
My AC isn't blowing cold air. What should I check first?
Make sure the thermostat is set to Cool and the set temperature is below room temperature, check that the air filter isn't clogged, and confirm supply and return vents aren't blocked. Check the breaker for the outdoor unit too. If it still isn't cooling, turn the system off so a frozen coil or failing part doesn't get worse, then call us at (512) 960-5282.
Should I repair or replace my air conditioner?
Repair usually makes sense when the system is fairly young and the problem is a single part. Replacement is worth pricing out when the unit is around 15 years old, your energy bills keep climbing, it needs repairs several times a year, or one repair approaches the cost of a new system. We'll tell you honestly which side of that line you're on. Many of our reviews mention we didn't push a replacement that wasn't needed.
Do you offer emergency HVAC service?
Yes. Emergency heating and air conditioning service is available 24/7. Call (512) 960-5282, day or night.
